Support Survivors: Help Us Expand Our Domestic Violence Shelter

We’re excited to announce the latest phase of our "Bringing It Home II" Capital Campaign, with a focus on raising the final $1 million in local support to reach our $2 million goal. These funds are essential for expanding our emergency shelter, providing vital services to families in crisis.

In 2023, YWCA Yakima assisted over 14,000 individuals affected by domestic violence. However, our current facility's limited capacity forced us to turn away over 1,000 families in 2023. With the generous donation of the historic St. Elizabeth Nursing School building from local Hogback Development, we can triple our shelter capacity, providing safety, healing, and hope to more families.

Why Your Donation Matters:

  • Expand Shelter Capacity: Help over 400 individuals annually.

  • Provide Comprehensive Support: Offer case management, legal advocacy, and holistic care.

  • Invest Locally: Strengthen our community by helping us raise the final $1 million needed to reach our $2 million goal and expand critical services.

  • Create Safe Spaces: Empower survivors to rebuild their lives.

Join us in transforming lives and building safer communities. Your donation to YWCA Yakima's Capital Campaign will provide refuge and hope for survivors of domestic violence.
